for what it is worth, I did not pay 2k, I have a good relationship with the shop that did it and paid abut half for everything, which definitely did help me make the decision. But remember you are paying for the full labor to strip and polish, and then powder coat on top of it which usually cost between 6-800 aloneLooks great. I had a set of wheels polished by WheelFlip a number of years ago and they only charged $150 per wheel plus shipping. 2k would have me contemplating other options, but I love the look!
Totally get it. 🥲ewww, honestly, the 2020-2022 wheels look a lot better polished. The 2023 look beautiful that way they are. Now, it just looks super weird….
HKS hyper maxWhat's your suspension set up? The ride height seems to be perfect.
I’m a fanSo as the title suggests, I took the plunge and decided to see what the OEM 2023 wheels would look like after adding some bling. After seeing some successful attempts with the two-tone 20-22 wheels, I decided, ah what the hell, as I was already getting a little used to the look with the TEs (btw they are not sold or being sold, love those wheels just a break) And well here is the final result. I think it looks 10/10 Against the matte white paint, and I could not be happier with the final result. While extremely pricey to do (local shop charges close to $2,000 Retail), I think it is worth it, these were fully stripped and then hand polished to a mirror finish, after that, they were powder coated with a very thick and protective clear coat (not spray clear fully baked in an oven/powder coated) to keep them looking like that for many years to come, this is why this process is more expensive then the usual just stripping people are used too with the 20-22 wheels. Feel free to call me an idiot in the comments below! but would love some honest opinions on the consensus of polished wheels.
Do you have spacers?HKS hyper max
I wish they came in 18" as an option too.Love the polished look! I think so many people overlook how incredible the design is on the factory wheels, both 20 and 23 designs.
