Poll on new supras, did you pay at, below, or above MSRP. You can select 2 options.

For NEW Supras - Did you pay MSRP? Did you pay for dealer "Add-ons" that were non negotiable?

I got on the waiting list in March ‘24 at my local dealer for a Supra at MSRP. I wanted auto, premium, driver assist package. Blue was my first choice and white my second. I was told I was around #15 on the list.

While waiting, I was offered a black auto and a blue manual. I passed.

In August they got one with the options I wanted but in red. It sat on the lot for a week at MSRP. After a week they took $5K off the price, I decided I can live with red for that price.

That is awesome!

I've been on the waiting list at my local dealership for months. I never hear from them and I am a repeat customer.

Later today I will call Honolulu because they have 3-4 cars on their lot I am interested in. I'm going to see if they even have the option to set up delivery to me and what it costs. They seem to have a Supra problem (too many) it seems crazy.

That was a smart decision! At least now you are not in the red as far as price goes!

Honolulu dealer said it is no problem to sell a car to a "mainlander". They do not handle shipping, but know it to cost about $2500 to get it to California. He confirmed, they do have a lot of Supras, but he doesn't consider it to be a problem, LOL. He also confirmed that the 2024's they have sitting on their lot are $7500 off MSRP.

In January, Orlando Autonation “committed” to sell at MSRP, then backed out and priced at a $6k markup. I found one at Orlando Toyota, but they told me it would have a $10k markup. That’s when I paid MSRP and shipped from PA.

I paid 4k markup in September 2023 for my car.

I had been checking for Supras that were available throughout california and couldn't find any that was available without at least a 10k markup. Was planning on buying an Intega Type S at MSRP. Before calling the Acura dealer, I decided to look one more time and saw it pop up. Dealer said it was unclaimed and we made a deal within a day. Waited 2 weeks for delivery, then 1 more week before I could go to SoCal to pick it up. Got incredibly lucky.
