Hey guys, Are these still the latest protool EDC delete Instructions for a ‘23 MT? Tried the steps twice but nothing changed, still got CEL, ABS and traction lights along with all the chassis warmings and what not.. The only thing that changed is that my presets and bimmercode settings wiped out.

"• Vehicle
• Vehicle Order
• Edit
• Remove/uncheck ""2VF: Adaptive M Chassis"" or ""223: Electronic Damper Control (EDC)"" whichever is present in the vehicle order.
• The app will calculate the modules that need to be recoded, follow the app's prompts, and recode the modules it prompts for.
• Uncheck EPS, VDC, and CAS. Proceed with coding.
• Once the coding is done, enter VDC specifically and factory code the module to remove errors."

Below are the latest codes:

HC/SRR_HR [SRR01_HR] | CB15BD: Signal (vehicle speed 2, 0x1A1) invalid, transmitter DSC/VIP

ASD [ASD_10] | 8053A5: Invalid coding data for equalizing

ICMV/VIP [VIP_G05] | D755F9: Signal (current RPM, wheel, 46.0.1) invalid, transmitter DSC

HEADUNIT [NBTEVO] | B7F8F6: HDCP: Authentication failed

DSC [DSC_G20] | 48082B: Wheel RPM sensor: Voltage supply, short circuit to B+, front left

VDC [VDP_G11] | 30C4B: Incorrect coding data

QSG/GHAS [GSD_F90] | CCEC14: Signal (tolerance adjustment, wheel, 271.4.8 ) invalid, transmitter DSC

KOMBI [KOMB_J29] | E12C75: Signal (actual wheel RPM unconfirmed, 0x254) invalid, transmitter DSC

DME/DDE [DME8FF_R] | 1BD508: Info driving speed, wheel RPM sensor front left, signal: Malfunction

any reason for unchecking those 3 modules?

I've coded out EDC on other BMW's through Protool, and when it prompts all the modules that need to be recoded to the new VO, I have always let it recode all the modules instead of unchecking any.

I may be wrong, but I believe unchecking them, forces Protool to skip over coding those modules, and thus why it is not fully coding the car.

I have a Samsung tablet, Protool app, and a supra. I am trying to connect with an OBD2 to Ethernet and an adapter for Ethernet to USB C. The app won’t recognize the car. Anyone have any insight?

I have emailed bimmergeeks about it and they basically said it should work. Possibly I have the wrong cable. Before I go and buy their $300 package to connect their app I wanted to ask here and make sure. What are you guys using to connect Protool?

I’m getting the “headlight vertical aim control” error still after completing the steps exactly as shows in the razorlab doc. Is there a known solution for this? Thanks

I'm installing coilovers soon so will be attempting this. Can someone clarify which modules you are unchecking and when? The spreadsheet makes it sound like you code all of the suggested modules, but then uncheck EPS, VDC, and CAS. In addition I need to uncheck BDC? Maybe this will all seem obvious when I start the process but just wanted to get ahead of it. Thanks in advance.

Correct also uncheck BDC. It'll be obvious when you get to that part.
