Got the free picture back from CMP Track Night. I chuckled since I went in knowing these tires didn't have a ton of life left, but the photog got a pic of me drifting T1, a small bit of tire smoke, and two black lines. While over exposed, it's still a good pic :)

Thank you, that’s what we ended up doing, went in through the battery compartment. Much easier.

Rear end Is done. Will tackle front next weekend hopefully.

Has anyone been successful in using Verus brake ducts with 11” wide fronts? We got steering rack limiters but not sure there is room in there.
I have Verus brake ducts on 18x10 inch wheels. I didn’t have enough room and added 10mm spacers. Probably coulda gone less but it was tight.

What’s your approx ETA on completing your build & going to Sebring? Would love to see our Supras hitting sub 2.20s at Sebring 🤩

Hoping to do something in December at Sebring as a shakedown run. Cooler weather may help get some laps in before we do hood/cooler/manifold.

Yeah, teens at Sebring will be the goal but may take a while.

NASA is doing Winterfest mid January if you can make that. Should be a huge event.

Definitely a target for us. We ran Super Solo at Winterfest with PBOC for many years, before NASA took over. A few low 20s in heavy Porsche traffic a few years back in the Frankenstein e30m3. Can’t wait to get the Supra out there…

I'll be out there on Nov 11th for an SCCA Track Night in America event. I've driven Sebring a couple of times in an NC Miata with an aftermarket turbo and a 'built' 2.5 liter ford motor. It should be fun in the Supra, but lap times aren't part of my quest. LOL!

My catted downpipe cracked and I haven't had the time to source a welder to fix it. I already had a catless DP laying around so I just threw it on. Now I like the way the car sounds (I hated it at first) so I will keep it on for as long as I can stand dealing with the smell. Which might not be much longer. haahha.

You can even notice in my recent video how much louder it is, and you can even hear the turbo more. Mic is in the trunk next to the battery.

Man I just put a catless DP on myself and feel exactly the same way, love everything but the damn smell

Oh hell YUS... If I can get that day off 🤞

Just don’t sit in the garage too long admiring the sound and you won’t even notice it ;)

Since we discussed the brake duct, have anyone tried to compare the speed engineering duct and the verus one? Which one provides more clearance
Dunno but brake ducts can be like consumables. If the SE one is cheaper, send it! The Verus ones are expensive. And when something breaks, they charge you for the broken parts/pieces.

Passing zone between t1 and 2 is so small...but so fun. Will result in a black flag, though.

Luckily advanced group is pass anywhere with a point by. That said the only time I would pass there is if someone missed the braking point for T1 and way overshot, then pointed me by. T3 to T4 is much easier.

Back when I ran Lemons I would pass there frequently using late braking and taking the inside line. I'd agree it can be quite fun, and CMP is a really good track for door to door stuff.
