I have a few track days coming up in the Supra, and while trying on my helmet in the car, I noticed it's touching the roof. I can manage, but only just. Is there such a thing as a low profile helmet? If you're 6 foot 3 ish, and you've tracked your Supra, let me know what you used and how much room you had. Thanks!

You donā€™t have this helmet, do you?

Not really. Move the seat forward a bit more, so you can recline it back further to gain a bit more angle.

The speakerbox's wall prevents the seat from going back further. It would take some work to get that done.

You can always go for an aftermarket seat with lower fixed rails.

So stupid question; for cars is there a particular sort of helmet or can I just use my motorcycle helmet (see pic).

As another tall person, this thread is of interest to me. Iā€™ve been looking at getting a lower profile seat and a low overhead helmet. Subscribed.

It needs to be SNELL rated. Not all motorcycle helmets are.
To add to this @GenericUser1, it will also depend on the organization's standards. There are two SNELL ratings, those with M prefixes (intended for motorcycles) and those with SA prefixes (specifically for autosports). From what I can see, most organization's will accept M rated helmets for HPDEs but if you're going to actually race you'll need an SA helmet.

I took a sledge hammer and beat from the inside up and raised the roof 2 inches.
No seriously though make sure you check what helmets they sill allow. I had a race Sunday I couldnā€™t do because of my 13 helmets none were snell 2020 or whatever
