I started driving Lime Rock Park this year. I told myself I would keep the stock 2020MY power and no aero until I could get under a sub 1 minute lap. My goal was to accomplish this before the year was over. I did this today with a best lap time of 0:59.72!

This car continues to impress me. Time for some winter upgrades!

Finally have my datalogger / lap timer all installed and working so now I have data from my track events!

The car does a good job of cooling overall. Even IAT isn't bad. Highest it goes is down the front straight at Lime Rock Park as I am WOT to 132mph or so, but IAT drops very quickly after WOT events.

Still boggles my mind how lean the car runs at WOT. Basically same AFR cruise and WOT.

Here are some key data points 9 laps in on a 70-72* day:

Here I am zoomed into at the end of the front straight, right before I get on the brakes:

Then zoomed in even more to see the timing and afr plots better:

Newest blackstone report came back. Looking good. Lead from before is cut in half. I made it a point NOT to use the gas pumps at Lime Rock as I had a hunch maybe they had leaded gas in them before. So I think this was what caused the high lead before.

Out with the old, in with the new downpipe and turbo. Man, the turbo install on this car is one of the easier ones I have done. Other than a couple blind bolt locations, it was pretty cake. Downpipe is SUPER EASY if you are also installing a turbo. ;)

No more stock power!

Is 5w-40 safe? I’m tempted to go thicker than oem watery oil but don’t want to mess anything up

Yes, going to use a Ford GT500 hood vent. They are only $120, fit well and look OEM.

I agree! I have the verus louver but haven't installed it since it look kind of out of place for me. These look much better (similar to the GT4 louver)

great, thank you! Do you happen to have any photos of the other side of the hood or know who owns the red car in the picture? I'd like to see the other side of the hood and the location of the aerocatch mounting spot.
I do. I track with him. The aerocatches are mounted to where the 21+ strut bar things mount. It's the same place the Supra GT4 mounts them.
