I bought my 2023 out of state and had it shipped to me... the rear plate bracket was in the hatch. There are some indents in the plastic on the rear that line up with the holes in the bracket but no holes in the plastic. Is there something under there that has threads or?

Yup self tappers are pretty normal for plate frames/ plates installed on bumpers. If you dont want to drill, can use double sided tape like they do in UK and Germany. just put some fake screw caps on the plate if you do that so it's not super obvious

Thanks! I had thought about this. Good point about the screw caps!

Hi Joe, yes, they worked just fine. Self tapping as others on this thread have said.
