I was at Masterpiece Auto in Miami Gardens last Friday to unlock the DME, where they confirmed that remote start function is not available

They advised me that it's not possible to do remote start at this point in time.
They still need to restore my coding settings since things were changed on my system and Carplay no longer works and provide a refund.
I'm very sad that they couldn't get it working. I'm still hoping for a day when someone cracks the code for the Supras!

I'm still curious about the pre locked DME being the issue since that's what he has. Since Femto stopped offering though maybe there are other factors as to why it only works on some cars.

Clarification on this. So coding remote start is only possible if the car is reverted back to stock first? Or do you mean we can be tuned, you code it, the car goes back to stock. Then we can reload our tune and remote start stays.
Or does reloading the tune clear out the remote start.
You can reflash your tune, but ecu may lock / your tune might not be compatible afterwards. In any case, I have to remove the tune completely.

ECU may lock!? Wow that sucks. I would rather my unlock / MHD than remote start. Glad you figured it out on a stock ECU though, but that eliminates a large audience for you guys.

I'd understand if the ECU unlock messed with the remote start coding in some way and made it incompatible, but re-flashing it and still having remote start working afterwards doesn't make sense to me.
Obviously, you can't go into the specifics of the coding itself, but can you clarify what part of the tune is causing the incompatibility?

They are gonna try on my car to see if they can get it working without requiring me to do another bench unlock. If not, I will need to do a bench unlock and reflash my tune.
