Hi,

We guess that you might see the response in the thread, but anyway, we'll quote it here for your reference again.

" Sure, based on the customer service, we'll be responsible for our products.
And that's what we've done so far, we did take care of a lot of customers that bumped into multiple issues.

But unfortunately, that's just in the cases of the DEFECTIVE products which accidentally didn't noticed by the QC team, but not for the crack/damages that apparently caused by external impact or hit instead of the sun UV mentioned above.

Again, we're sorry for not being helpful with this. "

wouldn't water just pool inside the hood now ? or is there a drainage port ?
Hi there,

The water that won't pool inside the engine, since there are drain holes under the hood which will lead the water stream down from engine to fender trim.
Hope the info helps, please let us know if you have any other questions, thank you!

Hi Chad,

We hope we can release them around the middle of August, but it still depends on the result of the test of the mesh material.

I received rexpeed matte carbon fiber hood vent from a retailer today, was thinking it would be these but came to find out they were a solid cover with no vent functionality.

Hi there,

We do have 2 versions of the hood vent now, but the shape is not 100% the same as the photos we put on this thread in the beginning.

Supra GR 2020+ V2 Carbon Fiber Bonnet Ducts Replacement-Gloss/Mate (SKU:TS67/TS67M)
https://www.rexpeed.net/2012/en/product_detail.php?serial=639
*They're full replacement that really have holes/ vents on them.

Supra GR 2020+ Dry Carbon Hood Vent Covers-Gloss/Matte (SKU:TS57 /TS57M)
https://www.rexpeed.net/2012/en/product_detail.php?serial=624
*They're just covers that goes over your OEM hood vents.

Hope the info above helps a bit, thanks!

For the vent version it's still necessary to cut into the body, right?

Hey Matthew,

You mean the TS67 with the actual vents, correct?
If so, no, just remove the OEM fake vents, then installed the TS67s will be fine, no need to cut the hood.
