I mean steel parts rust just like brake rotors.. If it bothers you I suppose you can wire brush it and paint it with Engine enamel or something (Dupli-color).

I’ve had no issues. Guess it’s normal
Thank you for that fast reply.

I currently have no problem with that. Just wanted to make sure that it is "alright". It dont see that part a lot, so it should be it for me.

Steel parts around the turbo and exhaust are going to rust extra fast due to the heat.

Hi, I have the same problem with you. My engine is B58B30C with 340PS, the
exhaust manifold may differs from the one on SUPRA. About 3 years ago I noticed the rusted color of bolts and behind turbo. I thought that owing to the extreme temp when engine working, It's normal of these rust stains. However, these days I noticed these components on my friend's same engine which has already run for 80,000 miles looks as good as new ones. I asked a garage man but he has no idea of this difference. Could you please tell me whether you did something with these components? Or just let it be?

100% normal. Those parts have high iron content.

To add on to this thread, the rust in my Supra is the same as the rust being described here, right? A normal acceptable level of rust it seems :)
