I think i have a theory that this is indirectly caused by cold start noise reduction on catless DPs.
Quick update, it's been 4-ish months since i turned cold start noise reduction OFF. I've done a combo of a short trips, a few cars and coffee, and a 6 hour road trip to mid-O. Catalyst monitoring remains STOCK/ON and haven't had a CEL since.

Same. Cold start off for 6 months, only had it happen the one time (within the first month). 0 times since on custom map if that makes a diff

This means those of us in Commiefornia and similar shit hole cess pool political states are screwed, unless you want to dealer level flash (and pay probably a very large bill to do it) back to stock every 2 years.
Doesn’t MHD have a flash back to stock map? In their latest update v5.18 you can flash back to stock without re-locking.

Doesn’t MHD have a flash back to stock map? In their latest update v5.18 you can flash back to stock without re-locking.

well technically you could flash stage 0, stock map with MHD still installed (and its features). OR you could straight up uninstall MHD and lock the ecu.

Maybe this is a good update for those trying to pass emissions/inspection?

What actually helped me that was recommended by my tuner (CD919), before I started to log was to change my downstream o2 sensor. That may have been my problem with a CEL popping up.
