I have a great mechanic that could do the basic oil change. Or I could do it myself, but lost that excitement long ago... I think mine came with the Toyoguard's included 2 additional oil changes (meaning I paid $699 for it ?), on top of the 1st two free oil changes. So, it's a shame not to get the damn free ones done. I'm hoping these tips on making them more "comfortable" with such a big job will help

I did my two free at the dealership as well... but that was pre-pandemic, so no problems with them getting the oil. If nothing else, you could probably find the kit at a different dealership and order it to make sure... but then it's not a free oil change.

i told them to give me the oil for free and ill do it somewhere else since my car couldnt get on the lift, so they agreed

lol. I did the opposite because I didn't want trash oil in my car. They did the first two with my oil.

LiquiMoly 5w30 Special Tec. I don't think any oil has seen 1k miles in this car, it gets changed often. Always LiquiMoly 5w30 Special Tec.
