Hey everyone,

I was looking for a screen protector for the infotainment system and found a good one that I want to share with everyone.

I know there is the one posted on ebay for $50 and that shit is way over priced. I found one on Amazon for $12 and it's great. It has a matte finish so you don't get the finger print smudges. It comes with 2, so need to worry on how many.

Here are a few pics to show what it looks like on the display and I'll provide a link to the amazon page.

Your $60k car deserves better than that. sorry, but they're not comparable.

I don’t get the whole car is $X, it deserves better. 60k is relative to each owner, but it’s just a screen protector.

For some it’s a trophy car and for others it’s a daily beater. Even still, no sense in spending more if it serves your purpose.

I got mine from @Marshall@ViscontiTuning and love it!

It's a slight matte finish which matches the center instrument panel.

However, as with any screen protector, make sure you have your brightness set to max via Bimmercode. It's a night and day difference...er...pun intended. ;)

This looks like a great option for someone wanting something cheap.

Look at this as the $8 wind buffeting amazon fix vs a $200 Verus carbon fix. Theres quality and different options and price points for everyone.

I have no issues selling my kits what so ever and have more than $12 invested in mine that I sale, while ordering materials at wholesale.

I try to always keep these in stock, but its tough. If anyone would like one, feel free to reach out. :)

I had considered doing something like this too...but in all honesty; everything can be done from the Idrive selector. Just a quick glance occasionally to see your menu and I pretty much have it memorized. It took time (a month or two) to learn, but I haven’t touched the screen in months now. I change stations etc from the steering wheel and see it in the HUD (if equipped). Nice option..but not really needed IMO.

installed the one listed by the OP and it's a great deal and does what it's supposed to. matte finish to reduce glare and super easy install. Comes with 2 if you mess up the first time.
