Supra smokes whitish/bluish smoke from exhaust a few seconds after decel or revving. I know many would say turbo seals but idk. No loss of coolant or oil. Been about a month since the oil change and I check every week on the level. Full every time. Would getting a catted dp help? If you guys know what this is please let me know. Thanks :)

Sounds like you need it checked by a trained professional - if it's an oil leak / head gasket or pistons seals etc, whichever one it is, how would adding another mod be of any help to solve the root cause? If it's a sticky patch you want, maybe, but it will only get worse.

Good luck 🤘

my coolant and oil levels are full and not leaking. They have both been at the same level for a month or so.

I don't see a tune on your mod list. I'd start there. Also, i wouldn't rule out oil loss if your just measuring it through the iDrive screen.

If you don't plan on sending it into a shop I would start with doing a glycol test from an oil sample from your next or change or drain a little bit out now. Will determine if any traces of coolant are in you engine oil. For more in depth analysis you could send an oil sample to Blackstone. Then a cylinder leak down test if you have a kit and compressed air. If not a compression test would be a good place to start too.

Sound advice. I had a similar issue with an Evo X but had been regularly sampling my engine oil. Fluid levels looked fine but there was some low floating exhaust smoke on warmup. Turns out I had small amounts of sodium and potassium beginning to appear in my oil samples. Small leak but I caught it before it turned into a large leak.

If you are checking via iDrive, then how do you know?

If you check via Bimmerlink then you will know the exact measurement down to the MM.

Handy guide:

- 100% (6.6 liters) = 97mm
- 100% (iDrive max) = 97-85mm
- 75% = 84mm
- 50% = 82mm
- 25% = 81mm
- 0% (iDrive min) = 78mm (add 1 quart)

Notice there is a HUGE resolution nerf between 97-85mm. iDrive will say max but your oil level is down almost 12mm.
