Hello,

Just picked up my 2021 2.0 with AVS and LSD last week. Nice car and the 2.0 is pretty okay.

While driving now and then my lower back support pumps op to the Max. I can’t adjust it back. Sometimes after a couple minutes i can get it back down/back again but most of the time the buttons won’t respond!

It is extremely enoing! Is this a known issue? I already updated the car with ISTA but would not solve this problem.

So wait, you just bought the car, right?

If so, it's most probably that the seat is set to the previous driver's preferences. You can configure your own setting in the car and then assign it to a specific key. Once the car detects that key, it automatically adjusts the seat to the setting.

Edit: also, I'm not familiar with the interior difference between the 3.0 premium and 2.0. Does your seat have a red button on the controls?

You’re right about that. But I already did a full system reset and stored new settings to the buttons 1 and 2. It happens on any time. After driving for an hour on the highway, of after 5 minutes in a turn.. very random.

That's really weird, especially when it's randomly. Maybe wiring issue? Maybe there's a faulty wire that gets triggered when the car moves? Hard to say. I would maybe take it to the dealer, unless someone knows an easy fix to this.

Only thing I can think of as a temporary solution is verying if you can just pull a fuse (and hopefully get no code)

It sounds like a bad switch or faulty wiring to me, I’d talk to the dealer about it

It happens most of the time when taking a hard right turn at a high speed. Tested it just now. I’ll head to the dealer and see of they can find a solution.

Would be happier of someone here has had the problem and knew a solition. At Toyota most of the time they don’t know what to do with out Supra’s.

Yeah, that really sounds like faulty wiring. Similar to when only one side worked on wired headphones, and then it would only work if you held it at a certain position.. my speculation is that when the cables move at a certain position when you take the hard turn, it triggers it. But at the same time, the switch should be preventing that, so it could also be that, or both. Who knows? o_O

Hopefully your local toyota has a Supra Specialist. You could always ask them if they do have one

Last friday the dealer replaced the switch panel on the side of my driver seat. Since then the problem is gone. Just tested it when driving about 100km, but in the past the problem occured a few times a day. So i think it fixed my problem!

The panel with the switches where you adjust the seat, lumbar and memory. It is one panel wich you can replace.
