maybe you can check HKS spark plug? I already made an order for HKS spark plugs, but didn’t try them yet. they are offering NGK heat range 8 equivalent spark plug, which is replacing OEM and they offer NGK heat range 9 equivalent spark plug for tuned car as they mentioned. Here you can check their website.
8 heat range part# 50003-MR40XLB
9 heat range part# 50003-MR45XLB

Has any Ruthenium plugs been released or used on these B58s yet?

I thought it was champions for the OEM?

I'm looking to keep OEM parts for my car as long as I could. Had dealers point at dumbest things to argue against warranty claims.

I think it varies on what bmw used at the assembly factory either ngk or champion. But I would go ngk if I were to pick. They’re proven to be reliable and work for a long time.

Depends on the year
Mine were NGK from the factory so the NGK replacement made sense. By the way you do need a special socket (thin) to remove the plugs.

I actually have 3 NGK and 3 Champion, brand new, in box. I can sell you whichever of the 3 you prefer if you wanted for a good deal. I'll cover the shipping. I originally bought them directly from Toyota and didn't realize they gave me two diff manufactures until i decided to go use them later on. You would obviously need 3 more though.
