Stock is garbage. Remove it all and start from scratch.I have seen that and I agree. But if using the stock 8" locations as midbass 8" only it may be fine. The 10" he has is going to be doing the deep bass. The 8" midbass he has in the stock locations are same size as stock as far as mounting depth. That's what i'm wondering because in the pics it looks like that's what they did.
I used the factory sub-locations. They were plug-and-play.reviving an old thread from the dead here... Did you use the factory sub enclosure for the match 8's? Or did they modify it
Nice - what are you going with?Stock is garbage. Remove it all and start from scratch.
Didn't know you went 3 way front. That is a lot of speakers now lol.I misunderstood your Question. I used the stock location for audio development neo 8ā. But I made a different enclosure that is specific for that speaker. However after a season of that, Iām currently doing 6:5ā GB60 midbass in the door. Which is a lot of work. I moved the 4ā to the kick panels to give a true 3 way front.
Iām also keeping the 8ā behind me and of course 10ā ported sub.
