I personally love the trunk AeroCatch latches and their placement! Such symmetry....much wow haha.

I am disappointed though that the vent near the door still seems to simply be aesthetic. At least for the moment, hopefully that changes sometime soon.

Very cool that Toyota is developing a race version of the Supra. This one is running a full telemetry suit, which is why I still believe the 7700rpms telemetry screen we saw in the Toyota jarama video was for this car and not the street car.

I wonder what is the purpose of the car though. It´s too production-based to be competitive in FIA GT class (especially with zero aero development), and it´s too modified to be registered as a road car in most countries. So what is it?
- A test bed for a future GT-series car?
- A one-make series race car?
- A track toy?

Whatever it is, Toyota, please sell some of the race parts via GR (or TRD). Race suspension, dry sump oiling system, carbon fiber parts, upgraded heat exchangers, track-worthy brakes, so much stuff to drool about.

No clue who’s sig it is but kinda looks like it has 7:22 next to the 2018. Maybe a driver that set that time?

What’s the signature on the door sill?
Good catch! It does not match any of the current Toyota WEC drivers signature.
7:22 nurburgring laptime sounds very realistic for this car. That is 911 turbo level of performance.

I'm not saying it's not a lap time but i think it might also be a date. Either 2018/9/22 or 2018/7/22. Are there countries that use that date format?

Correct. I work with an Indian accounting team and they state the dates in that exact format. But, the signature is strange. Almost like an achievement by the Driver. I'm going with Nurburg lap time until further notice... it makes me feel better :D.
