Keep in mind I’m on coilovers. I’m not certain what size front spacer you need for oem struts.

Really appreciate it! The good news is with all the wheels/tires I’ve managed to collect I’ll be able to do some testing before pulling the trigger on my next new tire purchase.

Love my 275/35-18s. It’s a nice size for tire availability. Which keeps cost down, in addition being able to rotate.

Modern cars come with inherent understeer for obvious reasons (such as hard brake induced tank slapping). Like already mentioned, it will put some more play back into the car as well.

I looked at 18” possibilities when I first got the car but ended up staying at 19s because the factory takeoffs are so inexpensive. I’m also one of the minority who likes how they look. So, win win. I already have 6 rear wheels which means I can go square and still have a full set left for my non-autocross tires.

From my understanding, its minimum 10mm spacers on the front to clear OEM struts.

Correct me if I'm wrong tho.

I have both 10 and 13 mm spacers. I’ll do some experimenting when I get the car back out sometime in March and will try to remember to update this thread.

You don’t have to have them. But if you’re going to track pretty hard, you could get some inner rub. Especially If running aggressive negative camber. If you go too wide of a tire up front and go with even thicker spacers, then you can get rub on the outside. On the outer wheel well (including hood). The Apex wheel fitment guide save you a lot of time and the best place to start imo.

Looks good, how much camber are you running on this setup? Do you have any rubbing on the liners?

I tried OEM rears on the front with 12.5mm spacers and the tire was rubbing the strut. This was on 275 width Rt660s which are notoriously wide. Going to 15mm spacers fixed it. I'm on stock suspension and Verus camber plates with -3 degrees of camber.

I’m running the stock rims front/rear and with 275 Michelin PS4S and 13mm front spacers with 10mm rear spacers on the rear with a 305/30 and no rubbing issues, this should give you room for more track oriented alignment as well without rubbing the front strut. Also lowered on whiteline springs.
