Well I’m just going to put this out here, I worked with them for about a year before I got my a90. As you could tell…. They’re a little insane. Stay away from Salinas Toyota in California

I should ask if they want to buy my Launch Edition, surely it should be based of the $78999 selling price.
Same ??. I believe that launch has 0 miles though. Looking to sell to someone that will throw it in a collection and sit on it for 20-25 years. Super sad. These cars are fantastic and meant to be driven.

That launch is used with 3,500 miles on it

Frankly, it seems this is the norm with dealerships currently. I'm securing a new lease, and it's been a challenging experience, from customer service issues to astronomical prices.

If people stop being stupid, the prices will drop. Unfortunately 90% of the human race I’ve given up on. Don’t buy them, the prices drop. Keep paying money for a vehicle that will immediately lose value, prices won’t move.
I paid $60k for my 2022 3.0 premium with all options, screw anything more.

I’m not unhappy about it so to speak. If my ride is worth 10K more than I paid , well that’s all to the good. However the reality is it won’t last unless Toyota stops making the MKV and waits 20 years before the MKVI.

What is the point? This is Cayman GTS price level. And Porsche is a BETTER car.
The Porsche cost a lot more to maintain. So absolutely right. The Supra fits the sub $60k car niche or it just doesn’t make sense. Those dealers are so far off and the perfect example of what makes the buying experience terrible. The Tesla buying model however is consistently pleasant across the board. Douchebags like this Toyota dealership will only speed up the process of elimination. Can’t wait!

Agreed.

however, go to a Porsche dealer in the Bay Area and see how much over MSRP they want.

or a Chevrolet dealer for the C8

and no, I am not supporting these dealers tactics by any means. I purchased mine at MSRP last year. And I’ve never paid MSRP in my life.

I hope that the Supra coming in at the sub 60k range when basically all of the cross shopped options (M2C, TT RS, Cayman GTS) are in the 70-85k range really forces BMW, Porsche, and Audi to rethink their pricing.
