I bought a set of the Korean Auto Imports gloss black supra badges, and it came with a steering wheel emblem. I cannot seem to get enough leverage under the emblem to pry it , I used heat and still nothing. I tore up the oem one so it has to come off now. lol. Any Advice or help. Thank you!

It’s glued on with pins through the airbag cover. You’ll have to remove the airbag module, remove the actual airbag itself from the cover, then you can access the pins to cut them off. I presume it’s secured like this so there’s less possibility of it becoming a projectile when the airbag deploys.

Disconnect battery first before attempting if you didn't already know!

Hey, so ya the emblem is attached from the back/ inside of the airbag cover. If you are looking for a black emblem, I offer them on my leather/Alcantara stitched airbag covers I sell!

Paint the stock emblem black, then order a toyota emblem to go over it. Gently use a heat gun on the Toyota so you can give it some curvature and added stick for the 3 min. Then you can pop in the rexspeed carbon fiber emblem inserts and place the Toyota emblem over the stock emblem. Comes out looking great.

Love those little rexspeed inserts. They look great even with the stock badge.

I already have the steering wheel emblem,, I’m just dreading popping out my airbag because the first time was a PITA. If anyone can give some advice on making it kind of easier that would be great thank you all again!

Unclip one side, press the airbag down so it’s completely flat, unclip the other side. It takes less than a minute if you do it right.
