Great call & story! Welcome to the under $65k supercar clubI called 10 dealers in So Cal to see if anyone had a Supra manual on the lot I could sit in. One delaer had just got one in and the owner was coming at 1:00 pm the next day to buy the car so I could sit in it at 10:00 am after the battery was charged. That owner did not want the full black interior and passed on the car waiting for the next one. The salesmen told the sales manager I was his back up buyer and there was a big discussion in the office with the other sales men saying their person should get dibs on the car. In the end I had 5 minutes to decide if I wanted the car. Nothing I planned for that day but I wrote a check and drove home with the car. I had no idea there was that much demand for this car. Great car and great decision.
I’d guess most MT Supras in California are sold for more than $65k lmao.Great call & story! Welcome to the under $65k supercar club![]()
True. I had to buy mine out of the state of FL to get a MSRP deal.I’d guess most MT Supras in California are sold for more than $65k lmao.
Premium trim plus carbon mirror caps can already be 62$k, then add dealer addons, then add markup. I’d assume Florida is the same.
Same here, 6/6/24 got a white premium mt from them, test drove an AT a week before and didn't go there fully expecting to buy it but here I am lol.White from Carlsbad Ca
Best color club! haha Congrats, post pictures when you get itMade reservations at Longo Toyota of Prosper and Family Toyota of Arlington in January for a blue or red manual Supra. Never got the allocations. Went to Pat Lobb of McKinney last week and test drove a 45th manual and walked out with a reservation for a blue manual Supra next week. Apparently it is MSRP.?
The car is built at Magna Steyr (Puch) in Austria together with the Z4. So there is a limited capacity for Supra.Their allocation system is the same for all models. Being a shared car with BMW they probably don't have much of say.
If looking for something built to order, we don’t have that option. You have to search inventory across the USA or hope your local dealer will get one and will price it at sticker. Thus it pays to shop around here as well - for price and color combo. The car is built at Magna Steyr (Puch) in Austria together with the Z4. So there is a limited capacity for Supra.
I do not know the situation in the US, but to give you a view of the situation in Germany:
There are not many options for config a Supra and some dealers have on or the other type and color on stock. I checked an online platform and today are 18 new Supras on stock and directly available all over Germany (Germany has less the size of California).
But maybe it is because the Supra is much more cheaper in the US (Germany 3.0 Legend Moeraki Grey metallic 71´000 € = $ 78´150 / US Stratosphere 3.0 Premium $ 62´155 = 56500 €) so there is a higher demand?
$5k off MSRP ? Hot damnnnnnnnnnnJust finished the paperwork for a '24 Supra 3.0 Premium, auto, driver assist package, red exterior with black interior, for $5K off MSRP. Red wasn't my preferred color choice but it's actually pretty nice! I got on a waiting list in late March for a blue or white one with the specs mentioned.

It sat for a week before they dropped the price. No haggling on my end to get the deal other than getting a couple 3rd party add ons removed that weren’t listed on the web site. I guess red isn’t that popular, or maybe everyone’s waiting for a manual. This is my first auto in 20+ years of driving.$5k off MSRP ? Hot damnnnnnnnnnn
Love to hear that! Benefits of living in Idaho & market softening up ?
