I wouldn't use more than 3 gallons E85 total to do a first Map 4 log. Bit 3 makes it so the JB4 can target boost levels under stock if it needs to.
Okay, I'll have to wait a bit before I can try Map 4 because I just filled up and will need some more E. Currently at around E20 right now. Could there be anything else that causing bad timing? Is it from high IAT? Could it be a mechanical problem? I also noticed that the timing is there until I'm WOT. Also, my car is a 2-port b58 if that changes anything. Thanks.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but it’s my 1st day on jb4, FF is the wastegate adaption ?
Yes it is. It saves per map, so if you switch maps, you need to set it again.

I don't think anything is wrong, just that the additive map is pushing too much boost. You can try map 4 on E20, it will be less boost than what you're running now

Yeah it helped, but still too much boost and timing isn't great. Can you try out Map 4 next? Make sure to set FF to 25 after you switch.

I do notice the overboost and the timing isn't that great in the logs . I'll be switching out my stock spark plugs next week Im currently at 29.3k miles if that info helps. for map 4 Ill need to pump 2-3 gallons of E like you said correct ?

Nah you can try Map 4 with your current fuel. Its actually more conservative than Map 2 in this case.

The boost control is totally fine in the last log after the duty/ff changes, its just that your car (much like @sa90h car), is wanting to run high boost to meet load targets, and that is hurting timing.

Some cars just prefer absolute targeting :dunno:

Okay, then maybe I will try Map 4. Is the excess amount of boost creating the poor timing in that case?

Also, sorry for all of the random questions, I'm trying to learn more about tuning.

Thanks.

Here are the log for map 4 on 93 with FF set at 25

https://datazap.me/u/mustafazumit/map4-jb4?log=0&data=1-4-11-25-26-27-28-29&solo=4

I am also curious how much of a power bump will e30 would give me compared to 93 on this map or map 5
