This color is hot. I was sad I missed downshift blue but won’t get a new Supra unless they do a targa. So I might wrap mine this color

Interesting - thanks for the insight. I'm chatting with a dealer in WI of all places, but they alluded to potential blockers with an out of state deal. Not sure if it's a Toyota thing or a state/dmv thing at this point. So... Not totally in the clear but I am first 'on the list' if it can work. Worst case I have to pay WI and NC sales tax, but that defeats the MSRP-only strategy...

Probably a 'them' thing, out-of-state sales can be a huge pain in the butt for them to figure out and properly charge you for fees, etc. You'll pay sales tax for the state it's being registered in, and even in a weird case where they did charge you both, you could request a refund from WI since it isn't being registered there.

I've bought a number of cars from out-of-state, some dealers are just weird about it for some reason. Some dealers aren't great (and do things like take forever to do DMV paperwork, like the Lexington, SC dealer where I bought my 2nd Supra), and some are absolutely fantastic. Always a toss-up as to which one you're going to get!

I'm pretty sure I could go back to that SC dealer and get one for MSRP (or less), but the experience was just sooo bad. No lying/cheating BS, just pure incompetence. Refreshing for that to be the cause of a bad experience at a car dealer!

I was expecting to finally get iDrive 7, and Android Auto along with it, but nothing about that yet, so I doubt it's happening.

Interestingly, though, the press release specifically calls this out:

• New premium 12-speaker JBL Audio system standard on all 3.0 Premium and A91-MT models

So... I wonder if they've changed anything. I sure hope it sounds better! It would be nice to get something that sounds on-par with the BMW equivalent, at least.

That's really crazy... It seems that that's the tech hardware and software that BMW is really holding back on with Toyota during this relationship of theirs ...

Same here, I'm going to be pretty annoyed if it's a noticeable upgrade that can't be retrofitted at the very least, if not coded.

When I saw the Blue color, I was like damn but then again I'm happy with my Yellow pick. Seems like not many people have the color. Plus, bugs love taking craps on it when I park outdoors!

MT is perfect for all those reviewers who hated the platform because it is Auto. Now we can see what they will say next in terms of hate!

Sadly for me, in LA, I can't do MT with traffic. I have the GSXR if I wanna go MT. But, I want those who can enjoy this car for me.

On the amp I bet they drop the digital input and go to full analogue from head unit to amp. BMW did that on a few models a few years ago. Gonna laugh if that happens and they all buzz like mine... There's a part of me that thinks bits like that are old stock!

Confirmed custom ordering isn't possible, but I'd have first dibs on whatever they get allocated (IF they get allocated any). They didn't seem to have any information on the 2023's yet.

Well wtf... How am i supposed to get a blue manual 3.0 premium then? the fuck is this shit toyota. Im not buying any other spec or markups. Seriously disappointed in this
