Hi all,

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these tires?

I'm looking for something that will hook up better than the stock MPSS from a launch so that I don't lose traction every time I move from a stop light/stop sign. I will occasionally push the car a couple weekends each summer at the local track and drag strip, but this would just be for fun - nothing competitive.

I am looking at 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 on stock rims. I also can't have anything with a treadwear rating that is too low as my garage isn't heated and I don't want to deal with compound cracking (again...).

I have included Tire Rack's test results compared to the PS4's which I was also looking at, but given the price difference I thought I would see if anyone has opinions (good or bad) on these tires.

Thanks in advance!

Great tires for the price and they last a long time in my opinion. I have them currently on my A90 and i'm over 500whp, they hook pretty damn good once you get them warmed up.

Interested in knowing about this too. I am about to run 19" 9.5+23 and 10.5+35 ... do these tires have a squared sidewall? Thats what I want. Wondering what sizes I should run.

I've ran them on the B48 Supra and now the 3.0. They perform beautifully through the twisties. IMO, they aren't the best for launching though. I was struggling for traction on my E30 build on the 2.0, much less now. Overall, they are excellent and my only gripe is needing some more bite from a dig. I plan on going with something a bit more sticky this summer (r888, nito 555, etc).

Without repeating what others have said, I think they are the best tire “for the price”. I buy them repeatedly for my GTI which saw drag/autocross regularly. I don’t feel like they last as long as some of the slightly higher priced options, but that’d be my only complaint (take it with a grain of salt as I just mentioned that I abuse them more than the typical driver).

Also think they are one of the best bang for buck street tire but a small notch less grippy than the MPSS. I’ve ran them off and on for years because they’re such a good value price/performance.
