I’ve been reading threads for days now trying to figure out this tire issue. Hopefully someone can shed some light for me. I’ve got a 2020 Supra 3.0 Premium. The car will be lowered on HKS adjustable springs.

I’ve got some 19” T-S5 enroute. I had planned to go with some Nitto NT555RII after talking to my tuner. Apparently, the 305/35R19 will not fit on the Supra, according to Titan 7. They’ve been less than helpful, just giving one sentence answers with no solution. Is the 305/30 the only size that will fit this rear wheel?

The rear wheel is a 19x11 +40 offset. I’ve seen other brands with a 19x11+35 that will fit the 305/35R19 without issues. Could I just run a 5mm spacer with the T-S5 and go with this tire?

If this won’t work, I just need a tire that will handle the power of an Ecutek pump gas tune that preferably will not kill me if I’m caught in the rain (Live in FL - not a daily driver).

Sounds like it could rub may need a spacer. Not a fittment expert but a tire that big fits on aftermarket wheels only. Stock wheels you're pushing it and its not optimal for sidewall from what I know. General makes a good DOT road slick that is kind of underrated too

Thanks for the reply!

It would be on an aftermarket wheel (19x11 +40). First, Titan 7 said it would hit the strut. I figured a spacer would easily make it fit but they said that it would rub the fender.

Confused because I’m seeing photos of the 305/35 on a different wheel with a 35 offset instead of 40 and there is plenty of room above the wheel.

Did they mean that by spacing it away from the strut your be pushing it into fender contact?

That’s what I took it as.

I don’t know anything about offsets but what I’ve read in the last few days and looking at setups online.

I don’t understand how that could be because I’ve seen cars running an 11 inch rim with a +35 offset. In theory, a 5mm spacer with a +40 rim should fit as well.

Best to look in here: Anyone running TITAN-7 TS-5 in 19X9.5 +35 / 19X11 +40? Tire suggestions? | Page 2 | SupraMKV - 2020+ Toyota Supra Forum (A90 MKV Generation)

For myself, I'm going 265/35/19 and 295/35/19 for 19" TS-5s on PS4S, since they are good in rain and some of the better options for a mix of street, track, and autoX.

thanks! One of my next questions was going to be if a 285/35/19 would fit, but I guess it’s got to if you can run a 295/35. Are you positive that setup will fit the T-S5 on your car?

I talked to Josh from @Meraki Autoworks who was getting his info from Titan themselves.

You'll be fine with the 5mm spacer to have an effective 35mm offset. My budy runs the NT555Rll 305/35/19 on a 34 offset wheel with HKS springs.
