I just installed the Blitz front tower brace - easy install and the front end feels tighter, tougher and better over uneven surfaces and corners.

I think it looks good too.

Now I am interested in the following rear brace.

https://www.unitedspeedracing.com/i...a-mkv-mk5&controller=product#/123-finish-none

The current aluminium brace is useless and serves no purpose. Its flimsy and hollow and connects to the tack welded brackets which provide zero support and serves no purpose.

The above brace comes with its own brackets (see pictures) I received from the supplier. It connects to the chassis in differnet places avoiding the flimsy tack welded current bracket all together.

I think this will make a huge difference to chassis stiffening. NO drilling, cutting threading required.

Anyone have one of these? can share their experience or offer their insights?

Hopefully can revive this thread, has anyone else tried the rear strut bar?

I've been interested in this topic. Was thinking of a DIY for the stock bar for esthetics. However, I may just order one of these. Does the creaking noise subside with the aftermarket bar?

Just an FYI, I reached out to USR to see if they could answer a few questions regarding mounting. They're currently at an event but would send some pictures when they're back. I'll upload them here as well.

Assuming you're talking about the harness bar, it's extremely stable and won't cause any noises. The noises that are left for me are other things inside the panels rattling. I think it's some of the speaker wires or panels.

did USR ever get back to you? I’m looking at chassis bracing and like their stuff but I can’t find anything anywhere that seems believable that any of this bracing (strut, front multipoint, rear, etc) actually makes a difference in the way the car handles. I like the way the car handles now, I just want more of what it already does. “More of that please!” The USR “testing” video just shows an install, not actually any “testing.”
