Trip odometer resetting when exiting????

Has this happened to anyone else?
Just recently started happening to me, odometer will randomly reset when I get out, happened twice today.

My current guess is that closing the door is causing the button to get pressed?
Is my car just cursed?

I use it to keep track of oil changes and it's really annoying

No way that the door closing would push and hold the reset button.
Check your battery connections in the trunk and make sure nothing is loose.
Really the only time it should reset is if you hold the BC button or the battery is disconnected.

I think there's setting to reset odo meter with "new" trip. go through menu to see if you can find it.

This sounds right. I remember a setting somewhere for the 'trip' meter being used for "trips."
