Oh Hai, another option for hood vents (even if you have the verus or 777 one cause it'll cover the hole)

Made from 2.5mm thick aluminum that conforms to the hood and doesnt warp ? the one I have on my car is a test part and rattle canned satin black. But ill be powdercoating the rest.

Hey! How are the hood vents holding up?
Installed mine last June and it's been holding up fine. No issues. It's my daily but I don't track.

Anyone got some more pics of their hood with this vent? I’d also really like to see the underside of the hood too if possible. Need some reference pics for my body shop. Thanks!

This might be a late reply.

I’ve been trying to figure out the best hood vent placement myself by digging through the forum. I’m no expert, but I remembered I snapped some GT4 pics at Daytona that might help.

Hopefully it helps someone out there binge-scrolling the forum at 3am instead of getting responsible work-week sleep.

Another upside of @rwense vent is that the centerline rivet holes make things much easier to align for the cut. You can snap a chalk line between the rain sensor and the toyota badge. That will be the centerline of the car. The triple seven vent doesn't have anything on the centerline to use as a reference.

You know if you really wanted to show some style and elegance you'd go old school like this. No warping, no hacking just a paint touch up.
Fit them around the existing under hood structural elements and maintain the lovely aluminium hoods integrity and provide "some" practical benefits. So classy. You'd also score in the I'm a bit "different" points also and thats important to some. Well different in the Supra world that is.

Finished install yesterday, wish I placed it closer to the front ???.
Should still be fine, slightly further forward could be better but where you have it is still way better than the verus location.

Here is my location for reference:

Dang, yup, that’s where I should’ve placed it. I overthought it and was too stressed about cutting the hood ???
