It's a piggyback tune. To put it in very simple terms it is a an ECU fooler. Reports back to stock ECU that boost is lower than it should be so stock ECU adds more boost, and boost is not really down or low, so it gives you the extra horses. Gives you good amount of power with catless dp, but CEL will come up so if you're fine with that go for it.
I think I'm going to start with this JB4. i have the CAI, chargepipe, catless DP, HKS exhaust. my check light is already on, so i'll be ok with it for now... unless i go with Armytryx or something. I appreciate you chiming in Sir.

I think I'm going to start with this JB4. i have the CAI, chargepipe, catless DP, HKS exhaust. my check light is already on, so i'll be ok with it for now... unless i go with Armytryx or something. I appreciate you chiming in Sir.
You're welcome. FYI Jb4 has around 8 maps but realistically you will only use 3 or 2. Map 2 gives you +4psi over boost, and map 3 gives you +6psi over boost. Or you can do better than ots maps and get a custom tune from Jesse the best jb4 tuner their is. With E40 and meth you can get 500+ whp easy. or tune with your current set up all up to you but a tune from jesse would be better than the already existing maps

i hear you. met local guy running on Map 2 with same bolt ons as me. I've hit up Jesse - for the JB4 and his tunes. i'm stoked. like the idea of seeing everything from phone. 8 maps, data logging, etc.

I see that you selected Map 2. How is the Octane quality in your area? Mine was lower than expected and puling ignition timing. I ended up switching to Map 1, then went to Map 6 running e30. You should run some logs. Some people here use datazap.me and it's an easy way to share your logs in case you have any questions.

we have good pump 91. but to be safe, yes, i stayed playing around on Map 1. thanks for chiming in.
just need: ethanol sensor... then i can do E50 - mix 91 / E85.
