My car has the BM3 setup with full exhaust 2024 , My dash says it needs to go into service... How does that work? I don't want Toyota to touch the ECU ..
Who installed your mods? Why not have them do the oil, if you aren’t going to. You could at least scroll through the messages to determine what’s popped up for service.
*Also, our cars have a single downpipe. Just an FYI
If you care about your warranty or if there's any left, maybe flash back to stock. The dealer will run a standard car check and it will flag that the ecu was tampered with. It will be logged into the car history. So any future warranty work can be at risk.
I had this happen with my 435i at BMW. I have the BM3 stage 1 and there was a warranty recall service. I totally spaced and didnt think of a reflash to stock as the service was fuel system related.
So I drop off the car and an hour later the service advisor said they ran a diagnostic check and it showed my car ecu was tampered with.
I told him I am running a stage 1 and if the service was denied for warranty, I was happy to pay for it. He said he'd run it by his boss.
Good news, the dealer was ok to do the warranty work but they did let me know it adds a layer of risk in getting warranty approval.

It's probably just the oil change reminder since factory rec is 10k miles or 12 months whatever comes first.
I've done free toyotacare service at the dealer in the past when my car was already tuned on Ecutek and had no issues. They should only be doing what's requested or approved by you if it's added after the appointment.
