TuxMat question - for owners who have them. Did they come with clips?

Just received my TuxMats today for my car. Box looked like it had been through a warzone, thanks to UPS. Mats are ok, but there are no "clips" as shown in installation videos on TuxMat site, and I'm thinking they may have fallen out of one of the many holes in the box during shipping.

For those that have the Tuxmats for MkV- did they come with clips to attach to sides of footwell?

if you’re talking about those triangle shaped clips, then i had them in my box

That would be the ones... are the needed? Or do they stay pretty secure without the clips? I guess I'll reach out to TuxMat to see if they can send me replacments.

i don’t think they’re needed (my a3 has them without clips) but they do look a lot cleaner when it’s clipped around

I think I got them, but I don’t use them and the mats look and function well.

My mats definitely came with clips. They aren't NEEDED but definitely help. There are corner and side clips that go up and under the lower side trim of the center console, they help keep the mats very snug to the side of the interior.

I didn't use them with mine, no complaints

Late to the party but yes mine came with the clips and yes I used them. It keeps the mats nice and secure. I can't say they're absolutely required but they don't hurt.
