Hi all,

I’m back in another Supra, yellow no less! Hoping to get this car more track orientated that my previous build, as always I prefer the OEM+ route styling wise.

Here’s the car the day it was delivered, a brand new Supra 3.0 Pro Auto.

I was keen to see what the new 2023 MY cars improvements were like on the road.

Revised anti roll bars, tweaked suspension & lighter alloys are the main upgrades over earlier cars. On the road the car feels sharper than the original and genuinely doesn’t feel wanting for suspension mods. Steering feel still isn’t amazing but the clarity of the drive is improved.

Unfortunately the newer cars comes with the inability to be easily tuned. I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Current mods:

- Carbon Mirror caps
- Carbon Engine cover
- Carbon mk4 style rear wing
- Supramod fake vent replacements (bonnet & front)
- Verus Engineering Carbon anti wind buffeting pods
- GoldenWrench Studios Billet aluminium paddle shifter replacements
- 3D Cabin Angled front tier hook plate mount
- Cusco Front strut brace
- Whifbitz Full Titanium Exhaust (inc opf delete)
- Femto ECU unlock

Awaiting fitment:
- Mishimoto intake & turbo charge pipes
- Mishimoto Heat exchanger
- Mishimoto Transmission cooler

Car when I first collected it.

A few choice modifications already:

- Verus Engineering Anti wind buffeting pods
- Carbon mirror caps
- Carbon engine cover
- Carbon bonnet vent covers

I also have a Carbon mk4 style spoiler to go on, it’s currently at the body shop but you can get an idea in these pics.

I got pulled over too many times in my old supra for running no front plate, so to avoid that hassle I needed a solution that didn’t involve drilling the front bumper and fitting that awful UK plate plinth.

So I picked up the 3D cabin tow hook angled plate mount. Ideal for my 5 digit reg.

I then ordered a set of billet aluminium paddle shifter replacements from Goldenwrench studios. The quality is incredible, as good as in my Aston!

The actuation is the same but the feel and shape is much improved.

Looks great. Subscribed to the thread, love an OEM+ car.

The yellow looks so much better with the one tone alloys. Any plans to get the calipers painted to match the bodywork? That would look amazing, red and yellow really clashes IMO.

I agree with half of the above sentiment. The black wheels make the yellow look much, much better than the old wheels. Especially in that evening sunlight. You should post this in the official nitro yellow thread if you haven’t already.

i disagree about the red calipers, however. I think the red calipers go nicely with the yellow. Especially since the taillights and side markers are also red. Looks great. 👍

These shots show the wheels off better, they have an almost purple hue to them.

I like the red calipers, even if it looks alittle “McDonald’s” with the yellow :p

Nice, be sure to upload a video. Will the OPF delete not generate a warning light?
It sure will! I have an OPF bypass harness that will deal with that though. Simple install.

Will 100% get a video.

Strut brace and exhaust fitted.

Volume isn’t too loud, sounds cultured and gives a more purposeful sound to the car!

I’ll upload a video later as it’s too large for a direct forum upload.

Fitted the ”supra mod” fake vent replacements. Easy enough job, they are held in by clips. These are finished in “matte OEM”.

The bonnet vents will obviously do nothing but there may be some effect from the front vents.

I think they look great!
