Hello,

I was upgrading to MST intake today and this plastic hose snapped off, is that the vacuum line?

Any suggestions on how to repair? Thanks

Replacement from OEM or a shop that could fabricate a hose with the required fittings.. I broke the upper tab lock too

So frustrating... Noone mentions how fragile it is but for now I took the part off the head and super glued it together then screwed it back in

Will order a new part eventually

I installed the MST intake today and although had some difficulty, i manage to get everything together. One of my PVC hose tab lock broke but it looks like it could still connect to the piece securely. However the intake doesn't sound like anything from videos I've seen and not even loud ( house cover removed). I've had installed a CAI on pervious car before and this one sounds like something is wrong. Did you have any issues with that part that broke after installing? I wonder if the broken tab lock is the issue or something is not secured all the way.

Hello the PCV hose is so brittle and even the clips break quite easily but that shouldn't have any impact on the sound from the MST. Would help if you can post a video of the sound and the installed MST just to see how you did it?

I noticed it's not that loud in comfort mode but in Sport mode it's got super loud induction noise now.

The one on my car fought me for awhile, But you have to squeeze it in the right spots. My hands are very big so I had trouble getting them in for best leverage. I wouldn't use tools to squeeze it because it will probably break.

Yep. Was in the same boat. Safe to say if you are upgrading the intake, may as well pick up this part ahead of time.

I broke mine too installing an inlet replacement. I ordered the mishimoto catch can which replaces this hose with a flexible one (you can also just buy a hose and reuse the ends). I still have to order the oem part which is needed to upgrade the hose to the flexible one.
