Hey guys I just installed my VS LPFP. I noticed a fuel smell in my garage the morning after so I took a look under the car and lo and behold I say a few drips of fuel. These are the best photos I could take. It looks like fuel is leaking from the threads and not the hole I drilled. Has anyone dealt with anything like this? If so what did you do to remedy it?

Threads for the bulkhead fitting, or threads for the new external electrical posts?

Split o-ring gasket is not unheard of, jackie ran into issues with that. He noticed the fresh o-ring was quite a bit smaller so it fit much more snugly.

the thing is he didn’t ship them with orings😬 saw a video of remant doing an install with this same kit and noticed they also don’t have any sort of seal. saw them do and didn’t say anything about leaks so i just sent it.

Here is a better photo. I got some orings and washers so I’m going to see if i can get away with putting an oring at the end and slapping a washer on top to even out the force to hopefully create a better seal

Okay. I recommend trying a bonded washer, but make sure it's made of fluoroprene, viton/FKM, or fluorosilicone to ensure it's resistant to ethanol.

Your washer+oring trick will probably work, but if you want something more permanent this should do the job.

I will try that. Thanks!

Oh, yeah if it's the aftermarket electrical that is leaking - that has plagued pump vendors for decades. For years we struggled with fuel wicking along the wire sheath, even with cable gland fittings.

They make liquid tight bulkhead studs, which look like what you have there.
