So basically if you order a car and it's unexpectedly gets delayed, you'll need to be extra careful and breakout the paint meter when you pick up the car
Well, not in today's car market, as delays are the norm. I was able to find out what happened by pressuring the sales manager to make a call, after the delivery date kept changing and nobody seemed to know where the car was.

In this day and age, where manufacturers are using minimal paint for multiple reasons, should either fully cover the car during transport, not just few areas or better yet deliver with full PPF either as std or option.
Put aside 50K vehicle, how are Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren, etc. transporting the cars or even BMW with let's say 100K+ ones. I'd freak out if a panel on a 200K vehicle was repainted...
Yet since covid, I feel and also get to experience the lowered quality standards all over the vehicle. Sad what defects pass as ok these days..
