When a red-light runner totalled my first Supra, a witness told the insurance company on them. The witness wasn't a narc or a rat, they were a concerned citizen who wanted to prevent an injustice. Would the witness be a rat if my car had instead been owned by Toyota? No.

It's okay to call out crooks.

I know for a fact that factory reps and techs watch these sites and others for shenanigans like that... I work with quite a few of them in my line of work. The stuff people try to pull is shocking.

This! So half of the people on here are ok with someone trying to defraud Toyota/BMW, a company that they so call support and are enthusiasts of. I guess logic and common sense doesn't go hand and hand for some on here.
