K&N drop in filter, already felt a boost in throttle response (I'm tuned)
You serious or is this a placebo feel? Car feels faster for real? I may need to get this.

Just feels more responsive, not necessarily faster overall. I recall seeing a post on here where a tuner shop did a before and after Dyno comparison on a tuned MKV with a drop in and it gained 7whp. I doubt there would be any benefits on a non tuned car since the ECU will keep everything within factory specs anyway.

Besides the drop in, I also removed the charcoal sound dampener from the intake so I imagine that also smoothed out/increased the volume of airflow coming in.

I installed the Injen intake, painted the strut braces red (will eventually get them powder coated) installed the Supra decals on the sides of the engine bay and forgot to post a few days ago.. I lowered the car with H&R springs and 13mm and 15mm spacers

So both the charcoal pad and the separate box are purely for sound dampening and have nothing to do with air flow or filtration?
My questions exactly. The separate box (sound baffle) is also the heat shield for the turbo on the 2021’s. Im not taking it off unless Verus comes up with a solution for this.

You can remove the separate box and the heat shield will remain in place, it is only attached to the main filter box… I hope this helps in some way

Installed the Verus Engineering Master Cylinder Brace. It's actually more noticeable than I was expecting. It really firms up the brake pedal quite a bit. I'll grab a picture of it installed, but it just started raining (uncovered parking for a bit ☹). I have a few other parts laying that will go on today/tomorrow.

Also installed the MA Performance Catted downpipe. Around 100 miles, no CEL thus far, but it's still early. Sounds like a beast.

Just put two black strips of electrical tape onto the safety trunk latch. I read the horror stories about snagged safety latches. I use my trunk 2-3 times a day so this gives me some piece of mind.

Its better to prevent it if possible.
