I am a member there. We have 40 track days a year. anywhere from 3- 20 members so up. So TONS of track time. My guests get physically tired before they run out lap sessions. :)

PM me if you ever want to come as my guest. I can send you a link to our calendar.
Going to Summit this weekend and signed up for a couple SCCA TT events this spring so far too.
I appreciate the offer, but I probably won't take you up on it. I already have a couple events booked up at Summit, one with the NASA membership, and one through TrackDaze. Dominion also was a little cramped on track for my tastes. That turn 3-4 right next to the wall always sketched me out. But I might see you at Summit, and if I ever make it down to VIR.

Received zrk's powder coated factory wheels with PS4S tires and installed them as well as swapping out the center caps for something a little more more accurate. Also got around to installing ZL1 rock guards as well as installing some slip-on Fxx M3/M4 tips. For $40/tip these were a lot better than I expected but installing them was a head scratcher until I realized that you had to go full monke unga bunga to get them installed. Finally got around to installing some M-sport style mirror caps as well as the $10 wind buffeting fix, was too focused on going fast.

Probably next will be to do a mild 70%~ tint on the windshield. Luckily, I actually have the paperwork for windshield and side window tint if some cop wants to bust my balls, a quick discussion with my optometrist post LASIK and I had my exemption for tints.

Like usual, my photos are typically shit since I'm mainly sending these to friends and sharing them here as an afterthought. I prefer a more real-world photo shoot than heavily planned and thought out shots.

Amazon exhaust tips.

Lol you don't wanna know.... haha.

annnd idk how much the ticket is, gotta wait. All i know is, ouch. ?
I hate to suggest this, since it shouldn't be something that should be a thing, but if you happen to be a speed demon or tend to get the business from law enforcement in California, a tax-deductible donation to the 11-99 Foundation to get some "status" with them tends to make a vast majority of law enforcement interactions more tolerable.

It's stupid and corrupt as hell, but the results speak for themselves, I've managed to get myself out of dozens of tickets that would have easily destroyed my insurance premium with just a verbal warning.

Just don't rock the plates if you don't actually have an ID card to back it up, you'll end up pissing off the LEO and they'll do their damnest to bend you over the barrel if you're caught, or so I've been told by a few friends.

Yeah I meant the autofashion plate frame. Tried looking on their website and it said special order/out of stock
I bought it a LOOOONG time ago back before i had the Supra, it was actually my frame when i owned my evo haha, that's why i have it, almost a commemoration of my old car in a way, plus i liked rocking autofashion's LP frames lol

Obviously every state is different and every department is different. My department has a written policy against accepting gifts so that it cannot be viewed as a bribe.

Personally while I appreciate the fact that you may have a blue line sticker or be a military vet (as am I) I could care less about any of those facts if I’ve got you on the side of the road. I have always valued anybody that acted like they had some sense and reciprocated the respect that was given to them.

I have certain violations that I write warnings for and I have certain violations that you will get a ticket for. I also use my judgement and only pull cars doing in access of 10mph+. Cops are taught to have their mind made up on the ticket or warning decision before they even get to your window to avoid any bias, however the interaction can always dictate a change in decision. In the end there’s no harm in asking for a warning and if you’re cool and respectful they may just oblige.

Did you need to jack the car up to install these, or remove/cut anything? Just curious to see if I can do this in my garage or if I need to get the car to the local DIY garage for more tools and lift access.

Ha, I would have kept those. They were custom made blacked out. :p

No lift needed although it definitely made it easier. I actually had the blued ones originally but swapped them out when the black tips were restocked.

The install is pure monke as mentioned, you pull like hell to get them to come off and then push like hell to get them on.

Having the car on a drive-on ramp let's you get the car higher to get the necessary leverage.

I also had a block of wood and a hammer handy to give some percussive persuasion.

I still have them around, but for the meantime I like these center caps. If I can find a set of 56mm center caps with the roundel entirely blacked out, then I'll be switching over for an even more lowkey look.

Plus the blacked caps were starting to chip haha.

I've gotten used to being pulled over all the time that it's pretty much an automated response nowadays. A majority of my interactions would be for tint reasons, but a quick chat with the LEO and the paperwork from my optometrist results in nothing more than a little bit of wasted time.

Back when I owned a Chrysler 300, completely blacked out on 18" police steelies, I was getting pulled over once a week for tint and didn't really connect the dots until after I sold the vehicle. In comparison the Lexus I traded in for the Supra had even darker tints, and I only got pulled over once for tints, when I was at mutli-way intersection stopped at a redlight and a LEO saw me look at him, then proceed to roll up my windows. Got pulled for being suspicious.

Just don't act like an entitled douche, keep your hands in clear view at all times, interior lights on, and if you were caught doing something stupid like excessive speed, own up to it and be a man rather than trying to come up with some stupid excuse.

Get caught doing 90+ in a 65? Sorry officer, I wasn't really paying attention and my attention drifted, guess I need some coffee.
