Does anyone know how to favorite Carplay to open to the main display area and not to the phone call list if that makes any sense? Like to show maps/calendar/music display? Only way I was able to favorite Carplay was to the phone list and I have to hit back twice to go to the main display which isn't a HUGE deal, however, is still a bit of an inconvenience.
mine opens to the default screen and sometimes to apple music. i'm sorry, i've had two supras and they've both done this. maybe try some basics like disconnecting and connecting the phone (forgetting device)?

Beautiful shots. How did you like your first track day? I've been VERY curious about doing my first track day before long as well.
Super fun! It was a lot less scary than I thought it would be. NASA provides an instructor for you that will make sure you are able to push your car to the limit safely.

I very STUPIDLY refused to use my free NASA day that came with the purchase of my Supra, despite friends urging me to use it. I was just scared of putting the car on a track because I was very uneducated on how safe it was for beginners.

Yeah it’s pretty safe in my opinion. There are a bunch of required classroom sessions to teach you about the rules of the track and the instructor will help you out as well. The whole weekend I was there there was only one incident in the beginner group(not a Supra), but it was at night while it was raining. Also saw them driving again the next session so I don’t think it was too bad ?.

That's awesome to hear. I recently had the privilege of going to the BMW Experience in South Carolina and I had an absolute blast until I got car sick riding as a passenger. Ever since then, I've had the itch to get back onto a track one way or another.

Hey I passed on it as well but for perhaps different reasons. I just didn't want to trash a set of new tires and have track gravel provide premature rash to my cars finish. It would be cool if they had loaner Supras that you could use for the free day. Sad to some (just a car ppl) but I'm okay with the decision.

Same here. Doesn’t matter of it was my car, a loaner car, the best car in the world, or the worst… well, a Nissan Z, I would be WAY too stressed out to enjoy any of it.

You will love it Wes! It’s not like you’d have to drive on track in the rain and night. Ruman got both ? ?. If he ever does some proper daylight dry driving, he’s in for a shock. So proud of ya Ruman for not bailing out and trusting my buddy Carlos riding shotgun with you! NASA and Chin will never push y’all. It’s all about learning how to drive better. And in a Supra, it’s a no brainer. Fun is in her DNA ? while doing so.

My wife and daughter have both driven on track. Just to learn how to handle a car better under emergency conditions. If y’all haven’t heard, the FL drivers are terrible down here. It’s great to know how to react if/when ? hits the fan.

I agree. If I had to do it again, I would go with either NASA or Chin for my first track day experience. I never really pushed my car until I did my first track day. After my first track day experience and I knew what to expect, I improved a bit on my second track day.
