What did you do to your Supra today?

I got $7k off msrp so getting no test drive was just part of the tradeoff. They didn't have any on turo either since the car was so new at the time. Still to this day....

For $7k off I would strongly consider it haha that's sick. There's none on turo close to me unfortunately

That one was at the old carmax i used to work at in Wayne. It got transferred to Edison. That car was completely resprayed over 5-6k of body work because the carmax that had it previously repainted it the wrong yellow and there was overspray everywhere. Carmax sells pretty low quality cars at ridiculous prices. Great for getting a no haggle test drive tho ?

There was an event in Qatar Racing Club made by Toyota Qatar specifically for GR owners (Supra’s, 86’s Corolla’s, Yaris’s)
There were some activities in the event, time attack and test drive.

It was pulling teeth to get a test drive in my Supra before I bought it. What finally did the job was when I told the sales manager that I would never buy a car that I didn't test drive first. They then asked to run my credit AND value my potential trade-in and whether or not I intended to put anything down on the car in the event that I actually decided to buy it. My car, funny enough, was a 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 M/T and was in VERY good condition. I also told them I intended to put down $15,000. After all of this shit, they finally let me test drive it.....


Some times I wish I could have kept my Genesis. I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on the Remnant kit for the 3.8L.

Test drove one at CarMax today! This thing is a rocket and super nimble. Also surprised at how good it sounds stock in sport mode. The attention it gets will mandate tints ? even though I'm looking for a white or black one.

Glad you got your test drive! I was coming from a Genesis Coupe and by comparison the Supra did in fact feel like a rocket ship lol.

Haha thanks! I'm definitely weary of them and Carvana and the like. Honestly, buying private from someone in this forum is the most ideal option for me.

It feels much more refined. I have the tomei mx7950 kit with supporting mods and it's pretty fun and quick, but raw and less punchy. So I can only imagine the supra with some bolt ons and a tune ??
