We shitting on instructors?

In one event:
1 instructor claims I created a dangerous situation by giving him the opportunity to pass me in the esses at Road A. This is a common ADV passing zone. The instructor opted to not give any body language to decline the pass and then created a train. He storms up to me after and blames me.

Another instructor got salty I passed him and returned to "the line" with ample room for me, but he was still a Karen because I didn't wait for 5 car lengths of space.

Sounds like every track day I do. So many people getting butthurt by cars much slower than them blowing their doors off. But then blame the "slower" car for something instead of looking in the mirror and realizing it's them. It'll never change!

Picture for fun (which one am I)

Washed the car yesterday and noticed some strange marks on the passenger mirror and a-pillar. Looks to me like some chemical (brake fluid?) burned the plastic & paint. ? Luckily no damage to the silver body paint. I guess I need some new parts now. I’ll probably put black PPF on the a-pillar, was thinking about doing that anyway.

Will the aftermarket exhaust cause it to fail emissions?
Not emissions. Depends how strict they are locally...and if you don't have 'a guy' I found it easier to keep the downpipe on, OEM exhaust and I unplug the JB4 (back to map0).

Might be time to go catless and get a FEMTO unlock

Not passing inspection with a catless DP and DME tune. In order to turn off the CEL for catless, it will set the readiness not ready/available and that will be instant fail. Then if you don't use the tune to turn off the CEL, you will get a CEL. Fail again.

If you want to go catless, be prepared to swap in the OEM DP every year for inspection.

Unless you go with Armytrix or Kenji. I think FI has a solution now as well.

It’s not yearly in Illinois, but yes - as an engineer who spent the first 15 years of my career developing aftertreatment and OBD, you’re correct on how this works. This statement is for everyone else, because razorlab already knows he’s right ?
