What did you do to your Supra today?

I drove it to a pickle ball tournament and then to the grocery store. Sounds pretty tame, right?

Now be ready to have your minds blown. I did this using oil that I did NOT consider 5 reasons why I’m using it. And my engine survived! It’s a Christmas miracle. I do think I could “feel” it isn’t running as smooth as it should though. I may be on borrowed time. Wish me luck.

I owned a 2022 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 premium originally and I sold it since it wasn’t engaging enough for me and I finally found a new manual at MSRP in our state of WA. These are rare as “hen’s teeth” Glad to see we’re finally seeing some with no ADM.
Sold my 2025 BMW M2 , but IMO I think the Supra is much more of an immersive experience then the M2, and for me that is the most important aspect of a sports car.
Reminds me of my ND2 Miata on steroids!

Nice, welcome. That purple on the M2 is sick also, haven't seen one in person with that. I kinda wish they had that one available on the Supra.

First time making a post on here. I installed yellow DRLs, Maxton V2 front lip and M style carbon fiber mirror caps.

Next will be the Maxton V3 side skirts and V3 rear spats.

Which did you go with for the yellow drls? Any complaints?

Yep. A random stray rock on the road a while back. Maybe one day I’ll replace with a carbon fiber hood.

This was actually done a while ago but I saw @O_B_S's post and thought I'd chime in and also throw my support behind the wheels supplied by @NitroYellowMKV. From the drivers seat they visually lift the quality of the interior way more than I expected. The impact on steering feel is substantial. To the point where I'd consider this a near essential mod.

Also considered the BMW wheel swaps but there seemed to be a few to many trade offs with reduced functionality and recently there appears that there may be some other issues with maintenance. The large OEM airbag doesn't look so bulky once the wheel rim is better proportioned.

Went for the classy/OEM+ look with all leather rim, stitching and centre line that matches the seats, flat bottom and minimal thumb cutouts. Ignore the marks, that's just post install cleaning product residue.

This is absolutely phenomenal. The hazelnut interior matching stitching makes this look OEM. If you ever decide to sell your car and part with this wheel, please lmk!

Which did you go with for the yellow drls? Any complaints?

I got them for $40 off ebay. I attached a picture of which seller below because theres so many. No complaints. When I originally installed them it threw an error and my headlights wouldnt come on at all (I was panicking lol) but then I read on another post on here not to use too much thermal paste (I had used a lot). So I took them back out and got rid of the excess paste and then they worked like a charm!

What is that insurance claim like if you wreck the car, sustain massive preventable injuries (head goes bonk) and they find out you removed the airbag?? Unless this is a track-only car?

I’m not sure honestly, this is not a dedicated track car and it’s not a daily??

Well, stay safe mate. Doesn’t seem wise to remove the soft and squishy bit for a steering wheel.
