What did you do to your Supra today?

Installed Max Orido spoiler. IMO, the most OEM looking spoiler on the market for these cars.

How long did it take you to get? Been considering that in carbon fiber option.

I ordered it from RHDJapan. Took about 4-5 weeks.

Installed a factory strut brace.

What's the correct torque setting? 40ft-lbs?

42 ft-lbs and you better be exact. Get it wrong and your oil pump will fail. ?

Seriously though. Just get it tight is fine.

No sure. Always thought they where ABS?
Anyway, fitment is 100% spot on. ABS is so much easier to work with.
Will be fitting the front lip w/end fins on Sunday.

Toyota says 56Nm (~41 ft lbs). BMW says 56Nm + 90 degrees. I'd go with the lesser, it's already plenty tight for that size bolt in something that's arguably more decoration than function.

FRP

A GRP is an FRP. But the two terms seem to be used interchangeably the handful of times I've been around them. Maybe the preference depends what country you're in?

GRP has been used as a term for glass reinforced plastic for so long and I think was originally abbreviated that way to separate it from a moulded plastic component back in the day. Now it's a term to also distinguish it from a "Carbon fibre" or Kevlar or Kevlar/Carbon or any other reinforcement mix in a plastic matrix. They all come under the general umbrella of "composites" these days and from there you need to distinguish the material used in the identification. After that with structural stuff you need to identify the supporting material such as foam sheet or aluminium honeycomb cores none of which is used in road car carbon panels that I'm aware of.
Apart from my composite work in aviation I also made bodywork and tank from GRP for a project bike I made. I made the bucks, moulds and final tank seat and fairing for this Italian frame with Japanese engine. Don't be too harsh on me now when you look at the design. It was the 1980's and I had far less experience and infostructure than I have now.
