What did you do to your Supra today?

I thought you didn't have to cut the engine cover with the Wagner?

The OEM manifold has 2 pins to push and secure the cover. Once gone You can just use the two that are left, but the cover is kinda out of place and floating; and also for looks… I guess.

that cover is by far the most benign thing I have cut in this car.

Took it for one last ride before putting it away for winter storage.
Temps are dropping and the weather forcast for the rest of the month shows freezing temps at night, which mean they will start salting the roads.
Only got to enjoy it 1077 miles/1734 km this season, but for next year, I have a 2-week trip scheduled to the Swiss & Austrian alps. That should put some miles on it.

Don't forget to get yourself some golf shorts, white New Balance, and a Vette polo. I think you have to own those in order to even purchase a Corvette.

For every one mkv supra, there are roughly eight c8 corvettes in the US. So yeah supply is high relatively speaking

If I was someone who collects cars maybe I'd get a C8, but they don't really excited me. I don't get that "oh shit look!" feeling. I still get that feeling when I see another Supra, which is not very often in my area. I get that feeling seeing a 98 WS6 TransAm (if it's in good shape) or a RX7, but a C8? meh.

Raced one once. It was dead even. I didn't think he was serious, so he did get the jump. I pulled in to match front bumpers, but after that the rest was even. That was when I was rocking the JB4, not sure how it would be now that I'm on MHD. That was exciting though. About the only time seeing a C8 excited me.

I had a C8 try to race me once. He lined up with me, I rolled down my passenger window. It turned out he was just asking if I knew how to get to Costo. He wanted to buy some fresh white New Balances and some diapers for his dinner date at 3pm at the Golden Corral.

Nice. Can't tell if that's a 991 or a 992. Matching the 992 GT3 RS MR lap times is my ultimate goal for my track/time attack build. Not gonna happen anytime soon. I don't think most people realize the significant differences between the 991 and 992. A 991 doesn't intimidate me. A 992, especially the MR....anyone who downplays how fast that specific version is just hasn't come up against one on track driven by a semi-competent driver.

I wouldn’t know the difference. I thought the double rear wing with the active aero was unique to a model.

Needless to say that car In front of me was beautiful. And it was probably being driven by a blind person (but not a beginner because was driving solo ) because I lifted a few times: at my low level of skill I’m not allowed to pass in turns. I’m sure a dozen guys here would’ve chewed that person.

Still - since I’m not racing, I’m gonna take it as a massive core memory to see THAT CAR right in Front of me for most that session.
