i’m seeing a lot of conflicted answers on this topic. looking to lay it to rest. for me, stage 1 93 oct (MHD+) works fine unless i’m banging gears off red line and launching. curious to hear from those who are stage 2 with an E blend on stock clutch.

Not exactly what you are asking but just to up your baseline: Stage 2, 93OCT (98RON) on MHD+ is perfectly fine on the stock clutch, even when I'm "banging gears off red line and launching."

My only issue is I need stickier tyres as the rear squirms at even the suggestion of acceleration.

Eventually the Ethanol maps may push the torque output past what the Stock clutch can grab. But don't worry about this until its actually slipping or needs to be upgraded etc.

The Stock Clutch will handle any pump gas 91/93 octane type maps without any major issue. Usually guys pushing Ethanol or upgraded fuels is when the Clutch actually starts having issues holding up. Be safe and enjoy!

40k harsh miles, plenty of clutch drops, about a month or so on e40/e50 stg2 bm3 and my clutch is finally giving out. keep it modest, but if you want to push it have money ready for a clutch. ordering mine soon.
