Whats the best trickle charger for 2021 supra?

I have a CTEK charger/maintainer with the 12v socket adapter, but the car can't seem to keep constant power to the 12v socket. It shuts off in my car.

The one I bought hooks to the battery positive terminal under the hood and plugs into an outlet and that’s what works best

Yes I've resorted to using the positive terminal under the hood now. Can't seem to get the 12v lighter socket to stay on
