Windshield Chip & Crack Protection?

Does anybody have any experience with windshield chip, crack, and fracture protection?

Im looking at Exoshield and Dynoflex and have been quoted ~$600 including install. (I understand no protectant is 100%)

Given OEM replacement is ~$1,300; Do you feel this is of worth to you?

Will adding this exterior layer interfere with any sensors? Any particular issues you can for see or have experienced?

There's also Maxxion and Clearplex. I've been quoted $400 locally for Exoshield which seems fair.

I need to get this. Our windshields are so soft. I have no cracks or big rock chips but it’s peppered with a bunch of small chips all over that looks bad when the sun is in my eye
