yellow rim protector on 23 wheels?

Hi everyone, I am about to get a yellow 23 supra 3.0. I am just wondering has anyone got any rim protector on the 2023 3.0 Supra wheels? I am thinking to get a yellow one like https://a.co/d/h9P22HO

So it can look like the GT4RS below.

My question are
1. How good are these rim protectors? Will it fall off?
2. Can the color match Supra's Nitro Yellow paint?
3. Any recommend brand to go with?

Well, if your worried about curb rash, u can always use curb feelers ,but seriously, they
Work fine if applied properly, but I’d get them in the same color as the wheels, you don’t want others to know how lousy your parking

Are these the Supra version of the Dodge splitter guards? But in all seriousness... would these REALLY keep someone from curbing a wheel?

This at least has more pictures to show thickness and probably does a better job.

OP, do you care about protecting your wheel or wanting to look like the wheels on the Porsche?

If it’s the latter, there are much better ways to achieve that look.

If it’s the former, go look up how much it costs to replace an OE wheel. Maybe that will help you keep a safe distance from curbs.

I’ve curbed a wheel before. I don’t trust that a piece of plastic is going to fully protect a metal wheel being smashed against concrete at any speed.

I had rim blades on my F30. Got a ton of compliments on them because you don’t really see them. You get used to not curbing them pretty quick if you’re aware of where your car/ wheels are placed. My wheels had bigger lips than my Supra

The main reason I didnt choose rim protector is because they all looks much wider than vinyl one. I figure out it would look nicer with thinner stripe, probably arround 4mm.

Not sure about it but I gave it a try. This is just the wheel pinstripe vinyl.
