I ordered my A91 edition in June and got the call on September 24th that the dealership received it. I ordered this car to be driven on Express Rally events, a business I own that organizes weekend road rallies and track events for drivers of exotic and high end sports cars primarily in Southern states, but also on the West coast and in the Pacific Northwest.
I have been a huge Toyota enthusiast since I got into cars, and owning a Supra has been a long time goal. I remember joining this forum as the FT1 was being discussed in 2015 and reading updates as the car moved from concept to reality.
This car was to be purpose built to perform on track but also be well balanced and useful on backroads. Given my background and familiarity with Porsche products, the "Street Cup" moniker was something I sought to emulate with the Supra. The car will look and perform like a race car on the street and given its association with Express Rally and those road rally and track events I felt the Supra Street Cup name had a nice ring to it and was well represented and executed with this car.
This post will include the most recent photos of the car and following posts show the progress of the car from taking delivery through the modification process. I’ll also update the thread with photo and video content as the shoots are completed.
For more pictures of the Supra and some rad Land Cruisers give me a follow on IG @expressrallyscott!
